We are an independent camera sensor cleaning centre with many years of experience on all types of photographic equipment, from traditional film compact and SLR cameras, through to the most modern digital compact and SLR ranges as well as microscopes and test equipment. We have been cleaning digital equipment since 2001 for many of the Automotive, Health and Service providers in the UK.

We at Camera Sensor Cleaning know that Digital Photography with a digital SLR type camera has many advantages over a film but if you own a Modern Digital Camera it is inevitable that in the time that you own and use it that it will be prone to having dust or dirt on the imaging sensor.

Good Camera care can only do so much, the design and the electronic circuits within new cameras means that it will pick up contamination. Dirty camera bags, changing lenses in less than ideal conditions, focusing and/or zooming, wear on the lens mount and the use of older lenses which are compatible with the mount all contribute to dirt being attracted to the sensor.

In short, even if you only ever use a single lens on your camera and picture making be it amateur or professional you will not be immune from the problem of dust.

Have the camera cleaned professionally OR have your TIME consumed in retouching on the computer Cleaning the low-pass filter is not something to be undertaken lightly

Any damage caused to the filter surface during the process will result in a costly repair and increase downtime on your camera.

Why have your sensor cleaned?

If you sell images to Agencies, they will not buy re-touched images nor will they buy images that need to be FIXED

If you shoot High-Key Portraiture in a studio you do not need to be re-touching spots on your image or background which have been highlighted by your lighting.

If you shoot images for Injury Claims, your files must not have evidence of re-touching which may call the authenticity into question.

If you sell wedding images from camera to disk, you do not want to spend hours re-touching images that should have been right in the first place.

Planning to sell your camera?

Prior to selling your camera it is always a good idea to send it for a clean so that the purchaser is happy to BUY. If you buy a second hand camera from the internet, it is a good idea to have it cleaned before that ALL IMPORTANT COMMISSION.
